The glass phial can be used to empty and fill Warded Jars and Void Jars, 8 units of essentia at a time. They can be used to empty (but not fill) Alembics. In addition, they are a component in Scribing tools crafting.
Note that 8 phials are created by the recipe, making it more material-efficient than vanilla glass bottles.
